Hello! I'm Maja [Ma-ya], a mixed-media fiber and textile artist. I explore ideas through color, texture, and form—turning imagination and intuition into creative, curious, and expressive pieces that invite connection and wonder. My art is how I listen and respond—how I translate inner reflections and felt experiences into something tangible and touchable.

My creative process is a blend of ritual and craftsmanship. I work with a wide variety of materials and techniques, including hand sewing and stitching, knitting, embroidery, crochet, needle felting, drawing, painting, sculpting, fabric and paper manipulation, and dyeing—the list goes on. I develop my skills through countless hours of experimentation, transforming ideas into material creations.

I also love sharing what I’ve learned along the way. My Tutorials are designed to be thorough, accessible, and inspiring—so you can deepen your own creative journey.

Flow, my blog, is a space for wandering, imagining, making, and experimenting. It’s a blend of tutorials, creative explorations, glimpses into my artistic process, and insights from the unseen—shared through visual meditations.

What I create changes and evolves as I do. I draw inspiration from nature, the turning of seasons, shamanic journeys, meditations, vision quests, folklore, fantasy, sci-fi, and video games. Still, inspiration knows no bounds and can come from anything and everything.

I live in Ireland with my husband and our beloved cats. Outside the studio, I enjoy gardening. I let my garden grow wild and change with the seasons. I see creativity in a similar way—each idea starts as a seed, and with care, it can grow into something unique and beautiful.

Thank you for stopping by—may your creativity open the door to something beautiful and unexpected!
